Capital aligned with the portfolio
A US$100 million strategic funding commitment from Wild Mustang Midstream supports Upland's upstream activities across South-East Asia between 2026 and 2030, providing a framework for asset level investment and a multi year drilling programme.

02 | South-East Asia Licences

Multiple opportunities progressing
Upland is advancing opportunities across Indonesia, Sarawak and Brunei. In Aceh, the Company has established a formal partnership with provincial government investment company and is progressing towards a direct award Production Sharing Contract.

03 | Near Term US Gas Exposure

Wild Mustang,
Wyoming
Through the Lost Soldier partnership, Upland has participation in the Wild Mustang Federal Unit, an approximately 6 Tcf natural gas discovery with around 3,400 ft of stacked gas bearing pay confirmed through drilling.
A 5.3 mile connector pipeline is advancing, with first commercial gas sales targeted for Q4 2026, subject to regulatory approvals.

The Lost Soldier relationship extends beyond funding, bringing subsurface, drilling and midstream capability together with mutual equity exposure and bilateral investment options.
Marc A. Bruner, founder of Ultra Petroleum and Pennaco Energy, has also joined Upland as Strategic Investment Advisor and holds indirect exposure to Upland through Lost Soldier.

Upland’s South-East Asian opportunities were assessed at significantly lower oil prices, strengthening their economics in today’s higher-price environment. With progress in Indonesia accelerating, the Company believes it is well positioned to benefit from both strong regional opportunities and favourable market conditions.
Thomas Nyanat provided an overview of the licensing process in Indonesia, explaining the different routes available to secure oil and gas assets and how the Joint Study Agreement can provide a pathway towards a potential direct award.
