Upland

Strategy

Upland has a strategy of identifying early stage, frontier assets that have high potential and then developing those assets to a point where commerciality is or is not proven.

In Sarawak, Upland’s work over the last 7 years has shown that there is high prospectivity on Block SK334. As an Exploration and Production company we are now focused on moving SK334 to exploration, appraisal and on success to production.

Sarawak SK334

Upland is the first UK-listed company to partner with Petroleum Sarawak Berhad (PETROS), the state-owned petroleum company of Sarawak.

The petroleum potential of onshore Sarawak has so far been underexplored but is bound to be significant, being geologically similar to onshore discoveries in Brunei and a very prolific offshore across northern Borneo.
