Upland Resources Limited (LSE: UPL), which is building a portfolio of exploration interests, refers to its announcement of 1st November 2021, which stated that, due to COVID-19, it was going to delay the filing of its audited accounts for the period ending 30th June 2021. However, the Company and the Company’s auditors have not been able to conclude the audit by the extended deadline of 31st December 2021. The principal outstanding matter relates to a financial liability associated with the Company’s Tunisian Permit.
Accordingly, the Board has requested that the Company’s ordinary shares be temporarily suspended from the Official List and from trading on the London Stock Exchange with effect from today’s date, pending publication of the audited 2021 accounts, following which the Company will request the suspension be lifted.
